Once again, this evening we approach Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks) or Pentecost-Jewish Year 5773: Sunset May 14, 2013 – Nightfall May 16, 2013

Shavuot is one of the three pilgrimage festivals and a special Sabbath – a holy assembly. On this day, the first fruits of the harvest were to be brought before the LORD as a freewill offering made unto the LORD according to how God prospered each man (Deut 16).

The Shavuot/Pentecost season also reminds all of us of two amazing times:

  1. When God gave Moses and the Children of Israel the Law on Mt. Sinai (as our ancient sages teach us )
  2. When God poured out his Holy Spirit (Acts 2 and 3).

Specifically on the biblical holiday of Shavuot, not on any random day, the Ruach HaKodesh (Hebrew for Holy Spirit) was given to the disciples and great Jewish revival for repentance and salvation broke out.

Today we want to see repentance and salvation come to our Jewish people, during these very trying times for the people of Israel. We thank God for you and send much love and gratefulness your way for partnering and standing with us for the physical and spiritual restoration of our people!

Toda raba (thank you very much) for your precious prayers and financial support for His people, Israel! May you be mightily blessed in accordance with God’s promise to Abraham in Gen 12:3
